Rum Runners Candle 9oz

Did you know the wharfs of Lunenburg harbour were once the home of rum running? Rum Running was quite the business in Nova Scotia from 1920-1930s. Fishing crews would load barrels into their vessels across Nova Scotia for delivery in the United States. Although this work was dangerous, it was more lucrative than fishing. This candle pays tribute to our local and provincial history of rum running with the sweet smells of white rum mixed with notes of berry and caramel. Wicks in the Window 9oz candles are all hand-poured and produced in small batches. Our candles are made with 100% natural soy wax that is plant based, cotton wicks and premium fragrance oil that are phthalates and paraffin free for a natural clean burn. All our product are vegan friendly in glass jars with metal lids which can be reused or recycled. Each of our candles come with candle burning instructions to ensure a long life-span with 40-50 hour burn-time.
